Sorrel and Liza will lead participants on a journey of deep listening, inviting them to take new approaches to how they encounter music and soundscapes. These subtle shifts in perception will unlock novel modes of connecting sound and movement.

As i listen is rooted in deep listening techniques developed by composer Pauline Oliveros.

This workshop helps people tune into their environment and themselves through deep sensing and noticing, paired with opportunities for creative expression and reflection. Interactive exercises and live performances enable participants to sense and experience far beyond everyday perception.

The workshop consists of three parts:

1. Introduction to deep listening techniques 
2. A live musical experience by Liza Lo
3. This 60-minute event welcomes anyone looking to slow down and connect with their senses. All backgrounds are welcome. as i listen offers a space for calm, connection and creativity.The event will be held in English.

‍Facilitator Bios: Sorrel Salb is a creative strategist, artist manager, speaker and author currently living in Malmö, Sweden. She loves to experiment with and facilitate ways for all of us to connect more deeply to nature and the world around us. A collective creative activity for integration and reflection. Liza Lo is a multi-instrumentalist and music producer experimenting with organic instrumentation and story-telling that enhances a sense of connection. Liza was born in Amsterdam, grew up on the Balearic Islands and currently lives in London.
