The residency recipients for this year's IVER/ Malmö Dance Week residency program are selected. 2 choreographers have been selected from 14 applicants.

BENSON A'KUYIE BENSON A'KUYIE, a singer, dancer, and performer, draws inspiration from the Krump dance style and Afrofuturism, shaping his artistic expression and he is based in Germany. He is assigned a two-week residency here in Malmö at Danscentrum Syd and Dansstationen and has the opportunity to share his process during Malmö Dance Week.

ACHRAF LANSARI describes himself as a self-declared movement seeker, DJ, and live electronic music creator, driven by a thirst for exploration I started a research journey where I seek to uncover the underlying "why," "what," and "how" of the distinctive black dance culture. He is based in Berlin and is assigned a one week residency here in Malmö at Danscentrum Syd.

The residency has been made possible through support from Region Skåne, the Swedish Arts Council, Riksteatern Skåne and Attitudes, a Creative Europe project as well as Dansstationen and Danscentrum Syd.
