About Kali

Kalliopi Tarasidou, known as Kalli, is a dancer and choreographer based in Thessaloniki, Greece, specializing in the dance style of Waving. Her innovative approach combines Waving with elements of Tutting, lines, and shapes, along with influences from contemporary dance. Her creativity and unique fusion of different dance styles have earned recognition in the international dance world. Kallis professional journey as a dancer began in 2013 when she joined the legendary dance group Flying Steps for the show Red Bull Flying Illusion, embarking on a five-year tour across Europe. In 2019, she collaborated with Bboy Junior to choreograph and perform an exciting duet titled “Addiction”, which was presented at Malmö Dance Week 2019. The performance captivated audiences worldwide for four years. Since 2021, Kalli has been collaborating with the famous dance company Wang Ramirez for the dance theatre production “Youme” choreographed by Honji Wang. Through workshops held worldwide, Kalli has set an example for spreading the art of Waving dance, inspiring dancers and enthusiasts to explore the boundaries of movement and creativity.

* Advanced. In this workshop you need a high level dance experience not particularly in the same style as the workshop. During these workshops a higher tempo will be maintained with a focus on each teacher's individual technique.
